*PLEASE NOTE: There is an electric fence around part of the perimeter of the Meadow House property. The fence is rarely "live," but a neighboring farmer grazes his cattle in the pasture surrounding the house - and when they are in the pasture right next to the house (which is very infrequent) the fence might be electrified. We like to make sure guests with children and dogs are aware of this possibility.

Also, please be sure to note that the Meadow House is across the street from the rest of the cabins. While Discovery Road is not a high-traffic road, sometimes cars drive fast around the corner (another thing to consider with a little one or a dog), so be aware when walking to the main property to access the beach, pool and grounds. But, because of this separation, Meadow is the most private and peaceful of our cottages.

Cancellation Policy:
It is our sincere hope that this policy is never necessary, however due to the potential loss of income to our business
we must uphold the following:

All cancellations will incur a $25 cancellation fee (per cabin). For cancellations received between one month and two
weeks prior to your visit, you will be charged 50% of the total cabin rental to the credit card held on file. We will refund in full
(less the $25 cancellation fee) if we are able to rent the accommodation. If the reservation is cancelled less than two weeks
prior to the visit we will charge you the full balance unless we are able to rent the accommodation. No refunds are given for
early departures.

Policies:
- A Visa or Mastercard number is required to confirm your reservation.
- Your full payment will be processed upon arrival. Checks and cash are preferred methods of payment to avoid the
fees charged by credit card companies, but we do accept Visa and Mastercard. No refunds are given for early departures.
- All rentals subject to 10.7% state and local tax.
- When you arrive to the property, please ring the bell at the large white Victorian home and we will check you in.
The office is located on the side of the house with the row of large, mossy elm trees.
- Check in after 3:00 PM, please let us know if you will be arriving after dark. Check out is before 11:00 AM.
-2 night minimum stay required (inquire for exceptions).
- The beach, pool and grounds are for use exclusively by paying guests of Chevy Chase Beach Cabins.
- Rates are based on the "real bed" occupancy. We charge $20/night per person for additional guests in each cabin
on futons, banquette couches and pull-out couches. Prior arrangements must be made.
- All cabins are self-sufficient (no daily housekeeping services). Fresh towels available upon request.
- Dogs are welcome at Chevy Chase with prior arrangement for a $20/night fee per dog (maximum 2 dogs per cabin).
We ask that guests pick up after their pets, keep them leashed around other guests, and do not leave them in the
cabins unattended. Sorry, no cats.
- All cabins are nonsmoking. A $250 cleaning fee will be assessed for smoking in the cabins.

season availability.
