		The south-facing, 1/4 mile, private sandy beach is a true gem—perfect for clam digging, campfires, picnics, long walks, and naps in the sun.  To access the beach, simply follow the trail behind Cabin 6 through the woods, across the footbridge and down a few stairs.  Discovery Bay is also a lovely spot for kayaking, instead of trekking the trail with your kayak you can drive it down to the top of the steps.
